The 2nd Annual San Diego Abacus Contest is coming up soon!We will hold our 2nd Annual San Diego Abacus Contest on Feb. 8th, 2009 (Sun). 2PM - 5PM @ Chinese Community Church in Tierrasanta (where San Diego class meets). All abacus students enrolled in Miura Education Center or League for Soroban Education of America are eligible to attend the contest. We will have (1) written test (addition/substraction, multiplication and division), (2) Oral Abacus and Mental Dictation, (3) Flash Mental and (4) Group contest. The contest application deadline is Jan. 10th (Sat). It's a once-a-year-get-together for abacus students in San Diego County, so we strongly encourage all students to attend the event.
